Saturday 30 June 2012: What lurks within?
What indeed!
Was taking some photos of these stripes this morning - just my sort of thing - when Jasper suddenly dashed straight up the bank and into the trees, intent only on chasing whatever it was he caught a whiff of.
As usual I called him, told him to 'come here' and 'leave it', but nothing makes any difference and it was five minutes before he appeared a bit further up the track and came running to me... and then of course I had to tell him he was a 'good boy!'
I just hope he never finds a wild boar like the friend's dog who was recently gored by one... although the wound seems to have healed up nicely thank goodness.
