I Love my City

I love Melbourne. I always enjoy walking around the CBD or along Southbank. It's so beautiful, especially at night, and there are so many interesting people. Our street performers and buskers always leave me impressed and just feeling generally good about people. We're quirky, interesting, artistic and even the seedier aspects of Melbourne don't seem as bad as some of the other cities I've been to. If Sydney is the glamorous supermodel, then Melbourne is the alternative model, with real beauty, an interesting look, maybe a few rats and piercings, but all very tasteful. Where else would one see a penguin playing the bagpipes.
