Saturday 30 June 2012: Legacy of a joinery business
Dutchoak once started and ran a joinery business. It was a success. There were happy customers, there was a little money flowing in, there was an apprentice joineress.
Dutchoak ran it aside his other activities, once stepping out of a meeting with the minister of economic affairs to solve a delivery problem.
After all, he chickened out, afraid to make the jump. His apprentice took over to make a living on it.
Left and right in the garden the remains of Dutchoak's joinery business can be spotted.
Here: two standing tables out of a series of six. A few were sold, a few still service when we have a party!
