Price inflation.

This Lego Corner Cafe and Hotel has 2056 pieces.

From time to time Lego produce very short production runs of special models. This was one of them. After a number of years the price offered for these on the second hand market rises astonishingly. Thus a recent newspaper report claimed that as much as £1500 had been paid for this hotel.

Of course it has to have its original box (which I have), its assembly instructions (which I also have) and all the cellophane bags which held the different types of brick ( which I do not have).

Ah well it still looks good on the model railway.

P.S. For those who enjoyed the Ginkgo tree, I have since discovered that it is the second tallest in the country and is registered with Kew gardens as being an important specimen.
