Saturday 30 June 2012: Summer Hols : Day 1
Travelled leisurely up from Fife to Portsoy today.
Lovely weather for being in the car for 4 hours ... bit of cloud, no rain.
Got to Banff in the early afternoon so parked at the harbour and had our picnic lunch before heading along the single track, windy coast road to Portsoy.
Managed to get the car unpacked, have a wander around, stock up on wine and beer essentials AND get to the chippy and back before it rained. Result.
The clouds have moved over a bit and there's late evening sun. Looking hopeful for the weather tomorrow.
