Black Friday

I intended to completely ignore Black Friday.  I don't like the idea - it doesn't seem to me to be good for retailers (most acknowledge that) and it brings out the worst in people.  I know at least one person who has spent money they don't have on something they don't need...

I got a lot of "offer" e-mails, nearly all either trivial discounts or stuff I didn't want.  I got to 7:30pm without being even slightly tempted to spend so much as a penny.

Then MrsCyclops and I decided to spend a LOT of money on a purchase we had planned anyway.  The discount was too good to ignore.

Now I feel slightly dirty...
