Day at a Time

The incoming tide

I'm afraid I have very little to offer by way of a picture today.

Spent the first part of the day at the Scottish Police College which, as readers of the Rebus or Skinner novels will know, is at Tulliallan Castle. We use the college for our annual staff development event and all the Associate Lecturers in Scotland are invited. There's always a good buzz though recent work-related developments lent this year's Tulliallan a certain edge. My extra is the College's Coat of Arms. There are oystercatchers all over the grounds of the castle. The words on the crest signify their cry and mean 'Be wise, be circumspect'. A good motto for us all.

By the time I got home the light was fading. I took the dog out for a quick walk but the rain started again and we hurried home more or less drenched. Here's the tide racing in with a bit of light in the sky to the east. Time to dig in for the evening now. Have a good one all.
