.... there was room on this plate for some bacon, so really, this is quite a healthy and restrained breakfast when you look at it like that, I thought.
Today Guy successfully persuaded me that he really needs a proper cricket bag, even though all his recent matches have been rained off. And of course it would have been a bit mean not to get him some pads as well, to put in it...
