Sunday 1 July 2012: Old Flame
I suppose that I am basically a pyromaniac at heart. I have always been fascinated by flame ... but then again I probably don't have that on my own. With this shot I was hoping to expose a candle flame to intense scrutiny - see all of its colours and parts including the melted wax and burning wick.
Having converted the image from RAW, I found myself quite transfixed by it. Bit of a worry, really. Mind you, outside it is positively freezing. I ain't going out there. I just feel warmer ... staring at this flame ......
