Sunday 1 July 2012: Atsuta Shrine
Got our new car today and straight from the showroom we took it to Atsuta Jingu for a purification/blessing(?) ceremony. Interesting. These are the doors to the room where the ceremony was held. The fragrance of cypress wood (hinoki) is intoxicating.
And now, I guess, we are safer. Nonetheless, I bought full coverage insurance as hedge.
