Sunday 1 July 2012: QUEEN ELIZABETH

We have just one rose plant in our garden, and today it blossomed for our first time :-)

The rose is a hybrid that was introduced by Dr. Walter E. Lammerts in 1954. Its parentage is Floradora and the Charlotte Armstrong. Charlotte Armstrong is a dark pink color tea rose whereas Floradora is an orange blend floribunda rose.

I think we want more roses in our garden. Any suggestions?

Wish you all a pleasant Sunday and a great new week!
