Annie and Chris

Goodwood Festival of Speed

Whilst Annie was busy slaving over her OU project, I (Chris) got to go to Goodwood Festival of Speed.

It is probably one of the best days out of the year for anyone remotely interested in motorsport. Every year they draw ever more classic and contemporary race and rally cars, bikes and this year even go-karts to climb the famous Goodwood Hill over the three day event. This alongside a host of motorsport legends to pilot the cars.

Each year there is a theme and a featured marque. This year was a celebration of Lotus cars for 60 years of innovation and motor sport success. In front of Goodwood House, a huge piece of architecture had been created featuring a number of (suitably well attached) Lotus Formula 1 cars from different eras. The whole piece was hugely impressive with all sorts of interesting angles and perspectives. Although I took over 500 shots of cars in the paddock and on track, I decided today's blip should make the most of this unique sight!
