Bauble

Rain and wind back but a few quiet interludes - time for a stroll around the soggy garden. A large egret fished in the field next door, a cock pheasant squawked somewhere in the undergrowth, long-tail tits chattered over head, and Chirpy popped up at regular intervals for a chat and a mealworm.  We have fishing floats hanging in the trees, most of them plastic or metal and beachcombed, but this rather lovely aquamarine ball was purchased. You can see a shed, trees and hints of compost bins suitably distorted for this week's MonoMonday challenge.

I've been very busy today, the sitting room is now nearly back together which means there's space in other rooms. Books back in shelves arranged according to genre (what a lot of art and history), the CDs now highly organised in alphabetical order (Himself); and paintings on the walls. Might give you a glimpse tomorrow. And the fabric has arrived so it will be another trip to Enniskeen tomorrow.

The Lady in the Van was most enjoyable - a part just made for Maggie Smith but Alex Jennings caught Alan Bennett beautifully too. A bittersweet story.
