Farewell

We haven't known this miniature horse's name so the kids nick-named her Caramel due to her colouring. We found out last night that, in fact, she is called Thumbelina, which drew private scorn from the children who think they are too old and sensible for fairytales. 

She was taken away at 7:30am along with her sheepy companions. Since it's been a bit of a drama having them, I can't say I was sad to say 'goodbye'. I've cleaned up the yard, the kids helped clean up the house, and we are starting to feel civilised again.
