It's working .... (backblip)

Had to backblip this as we went out.

It would appear that planting my wildflower garden is having the desired effect. It seems to be attracting bees & hover flies though as yet I've not seen any butterflies. I have seen three different species of bees so far.

We had a lovely afternoon out despite the weather. We headed of in the car to find somewhere nice to walk ..... plans scuppered .... as every time we stopped the rain how unusual! came down. We ended up at Blankney Barf near Lincoln & the sun did come out briefly. We saw a Marsh Harrier but it flew off into the distance before I could get a photo & also saw a Kestrel hovering several times but alas no shot of that either. Never mind .. better luck next time :-)
