Monday 2 July 2012: Park life
Quiet ponds in well-tended city parks must feel like pretty good real estate if you are one of the birds that inhabit them.
These two swans and their cygnets looked the picture of serenity as they swam round the pond in Victoria Park in Glasgow's west end.
Just at the moment I pressed the button, both adults decided to go under for a feed while the youngsters tagged along behind. I liked the symmetry of it all and the reflections in the water.
