Monday 2 July 2012: A different perspective
I have had a bit of a rubbish day. It began at the soft play group; lots of whiny children crying for no reason (2 on our table) followed by the smelliest poop ever from my friends daughter. It was so bad that everyone near her kept lifting up their babies to see who had done it! It felt so noisy in their today, one of the screamers was so loud that I covered my ears. I'm very fortunate not to have had one of those.
Anyway after that experience I mailed my 2nd faulty Canon 5D mark 2 back for a refund, along with my trusty 5D for repair. Decsion made, I have had two of these bodies fail me in the first week of using them so I am going back to my old camera for the moment. I hear that the mark 3's are no better, disappointing from Canon really.
I got back home and Miss E was sleepily watching some Peppa Pig while I was getting some of the imaging done from the weekend. I then got a text from Helena who had attended the reception class meeting we were told we weren't welcome at if we had children with us (ironic really!) Nick and our Miss E have been put in different classes, after me requesting that they be kept together. To say I am disappointed is an understatement, why do they bother asking if they are going to go against your wishes?
It was Miss C's turn to find out her class tonight, I went along just to collect her paperwork with her form on it but it wasn't there. Maybe just as well, as I think I might go over the edge if she has the form teacher Mr M got last year. The words *home-schooling* come to mind.
I have that joy to come tomorrow...
