Job Description: Hand feed the sharks.

And that is just another of the jobs Aquarists at the Deep do, in this case to acclimatise the newly released eleven months old Zebra sharks released for the first time into the Coral pool.
There are three of these beauties, raised from egg sacs obtained from an American Aquarium, and the reason for the feeding is to condition them on a daily basis to expect to be fed rather than help themselves!
When the grow up they will be transferred to the main area of the Deep.
The chap in the wet suit is feeding them squid by the way.
This was one of those rare times when the place was really quiet (Though they were expecting three coachloads fro schools within the hour) and we had virtually a private Aquarium of our own for just a little while
