Red angel bear

Our day started with a trip to the flat's cave to look up some old papers, only the key fit in the padlock but didn't open the padlock so our plans fell short. Instead we did a bit more shopping for small things, had lunch with family and then left for the station with time to kill.

Apparently this backblip is a statue of an Angel Bear... It lives at the front of Gare du Nord in Paris. I blipped it on our way while we had time at the station. The train ride home was uneventful - which is good and the extra blips are our train at St. Pancras and the station clock.

We trudged through London's congested underground and owing to poor timing had time to kill at Waterloo, so we took a train to Basingstoke to wait there as they have a nice heated waiting room which is a lot nicer to wait in than Waterloo.

Once unloaded at home we watched yesterday's two episodes of The Bridge on BBC iPlayer, and then crashed out to bed.

I did weigh myself while in Paris, and though I put on a few hundred grams relative to last week, it wasn't too bad considering I didn't eat as normal and I didn't ride a bike over the weekend! Plus the gravity could be different there...
