Tuesday 3 July 2012: Bucking bronco
It's Tuesday! But neither Tatum or I can blip faces of Fiona since we're both in CO and Fiona is in Seattle. So I'm going with
Tatum on the "mechanical bull" at Purgatory ski resort . We all got recharged yesterday so spent the day in the mountains with the alpine slide from the top of the chair lift, a zip line (niklas was the only one on this) bungy trampoline, climbing wall and we all played miniature golf! The clouds and thunder rolled in And it rained for 2 minutes so the slide was closed for awhile. Very dramatic skies ( not just blue) and gorgeous scenery! We are disappointed that the usual rodeo in Durango is not happening - this is the best I can do. (sorry that bull's whole kind of messed up face isn't visible.)
But we're about to go to a cowboy dinner/show- report later.....
Edit: fantastic place at the Bar D ranch with barbecue dinner and a wonderful western cowboy music! We all loved it!
