Wednesday 4 July 2012: A plague of snails upon you
... well upon me, but I suspect everywhere the conditions are perfect for snails and slugs. I am becoming quite fascinated by them. They are a lot more agile than I would have thought and move a lot more quickly too. I imagine them having conversations like:
"What a fabulous summer we are having this year"
"I know! It's gorgous. I've been rain-bathing every day this week"
"There's so much fresh locally grown produce around too, what a great life we are having"
"Yes, none of that having to stay under cover and drying up in the heat"
"I'm really looking forward to winter this year"
"Me too, going anywhere nice?"
"Me and the snailettes were thinking of a little road trip next door"
"Nice!"
