Squished brains on the road!!

Actually it's dark onion marmalade on my chopping board but it's the best I could do to represent the tragedy -that nearly was -on stage 4 of Le Tour! Abbeville--Rouen After 5hours + of riding with only 2.6 km to go there was a faller. The riders were packed on a narrow road with the sprinters preparing to ride for glory -which means very fast speeds. One faller leads to a domino effect and down went several riders including Cavendish the mighty. His helmet was completely split across the back. If he hadn't been wearing it his head would have split and his brains would have looked like my marmalade. Again inside three km so he doesn't lose time and thankfully he's ok to turn his pedals in anger tomorrow. Back at home we had monsoonsthunder and lightening .
