The 405

My friend from New York was in town on a documentary job. He called me asking if I knew anywhere he could get B-roll footage of LA traffic. I laughed and asked him to look to the nearest highway.
I ended up taking him to the infamous 405. It has traffic jams as dependable as the sun being part of the forecast.
I took a series of shots of the traffic at varying shutter speeds and decided the slower shutter had more character and story telling in it than a faster speed that caught full detail of the vehicles.
