Wednesday 4 July 2012: C: clouds below Skiddaw

Continuing with the July theme, having photographed a few cafes and coffee shops today, we were treated to a great cloud display this evening across the Derwent valley. This low lying bank of cloud moved across the front of Skiddaw and simply hung there.

I hope the feeling of scale is shown by the building in the lower left corner.

Couldn't resist.
