Thursday 5 July 2012: Tea for three?
We managed to dodge the weather to visit Harlow Carr today. It was hot and humid and even sunny at times but virtually no rain in the afternoon.
We had our usual lunch in Betty's and then started our tour of the summer gardens.
Suggested highlights were:
Candelabra primulas
and
Sweet peas
My favourite though was in the summerhouse (which I would love to own). What a fabulous idea, teacups, teapot and jug planters. Love it!
