Thursday 20 November 2008: Our Stair, chair, and mair!

We have a communal library within our stairwell. Anyone can help themselves to a book, and return it if and when they can. Periodically we do a clear out to the local recycle shop.

We are an eclectic lot - steamy romances, thrillers, forensic thrillers, readers digest compendiums, non fiction, military stories etc.

We never know who donates - although we can guess! , but some regulars to the stair add to, and remove books, so the range and quality is always changing.

Am feeling much better - had an appointment to see the nice lady doctor - got a new inhaler. It had been so long since I had asked for one, they had cancelled the repeat prescription request, that | used to have.
