Up early and after posting yesterday’s blip and browsing a few journals I did the prep for some leek and potato soup.  Have almost finished the big bag of potatoes I bought before Christmas.

A dry morning so I took a short drive to White Moss and walked around Grasmere.  The route takes me past a cafe/tea garden on the shore of the lake where the owners request insist that ‘you may only take photos after purchasing your food/drink’.  This is a side view, taken from the road. 

More culinary efforts in the afternoon and, as I realised later, both todays recipes were Delia ones and both very tasty.
