When the Weather is Dull, Look for Colour

That is what someone once told me so I just had to put the advice into practice when I saw this red jacket.

In this weather, the only people out and about were dog walkers and blippers (and a couple of birders too).

Apparently this stormy weather has not been good for seabirds, preventing them from feeding, and weak and dead birds are getting washed up along the shore.  There were a couple of dead 'little auks' at Seafield. I'm now wondering if twitchers would count a dead specimen as a 'tick'?

As usual, I couldn't depress you with the dreich original so this blip has been brightened up before posting.
