Sisters......

.....catching up on all the local news, as you do when you've been away for a while. It was lovely to see my aunt and mum having a good old chat and it was unbeknown to them the camera was on them :)

Lovely day although cooler and cloudy as the day wore on. Lunch at the Red Barn was a delight with these two ladies and the homemade food was delicious!

We called into the Whakatane Airport for some photography and then I had my first encounter with Julian's Berry Farm - it was divine!! Delicious fat, organic strawberries full of juice and freshness, we certainly don't get strawberries like these in the South Island.

Whakatane - the land of plenty! :)
