Friday 6 July 2012: OLYMPIC FOOTBALL TICKETS
These arrived this morning. I will be seeing Brazil v New Zealand on 1st August and a Quarter Final on 4th August. The tickets show the venue as St. James Park, Newcastle instead of The Sports Direct Arena. The Olympic Committee insisted on using the old name to avoid any conflict with Olympic sponsorship deals. The Sports Direct signs at the stadium have been covered over with large white sheets!
Neil arrived safely in London on the National Express coach and is now exploring the drinking establishments in Clapham.
Today the weather here has been WET. VERY WET.
