Port of Ayr

Picked up B at lunchtime, squeezed all the kit into the car and headed over to Ayr. We boarded "Loyal Watcher", our dive boat for the week at 5pm. There are 12 of us, a mixed bunch of divers from Dundee, Edinburgh and further afield, organised by fellow blipper Chris Sugden.

In the past we've steamed to Ballycastle overnight, but the forecast is a bit stormy so we're staying in Ayr tonight and setting off in the morning.
