Saturday 30 June 2012: Highland Games

A family day for Mrs B's parents' Ruby anniversary.

Lunch at our house with S & C, then a trip to the Ceres Highand Games. Great fun despite the rain - a curious mix of world's strongest man, schools sports day and a ceilidh. It's only when you see the prize money that you realise why people seem to be taking it so seriously...

Then back to ours for scallops, rare beef fillet and basil & white chocolate creams.
