Off to his mates' for a play and a sleepover. Collect him after breakfast and head off to Wales.

Didn't kids used to be much older than this before they went off to friends' houses for sleepovers??

Ben got out of the car, said "bye Daddy!" and Steve had to call him back!! They then negotiated how Ben was going to get into the house. Ben wasn't sure. Steve suggested ringing the doorbell - But I can't reach, Daddy! Shall I help? Yes ok then....

At least he got a goodbye cuddle and a kiss. And although we may be off to Wales, that's in the morning - not tonight!

Time to pack now....
