Tiny Tuesday Thistle

Using a bit of creative cropping I thought this might just qualify for Tiny Tuesday.  The contrast between the seed head and the new flower is kind of appealing.

A nasty hot day today, but the cloud cover has thickened and I doubt we'll reach the forecast top of 40 degrees.

And isn't it wonderful news that Blip is going to keep on keeping on.  A cartwheel moment if ever there was one.  We need to keep the money flowing, so please - now the news is so fantastic - if you haven't pledged yet, please do so.  Every penny we raise will make the site better and more viable.
