Hen and Chickens, Bolton

This pub has a large picture of the Charge of the Light Brigade above the fireplace in the lounge bar. The pubs connection with this historic event was Private Constantine Wrigley. 17 Lancers, who was killed in the charge, on 25 October 1854. He was the eldest son of the pub landlord.
