Sunday 8 July 2012: It's the day !!

Woke up at 8am to beautiful sunshine and I was out in the garden by 9 but by 11 it was dark and raining . Still during this time I did get little jobs done and cleaned out the doves . Then it was time for today's blip something different as its a special day , well I looked around and couldn't think of anything . I found myself in the garage desperately searching and suddenly there I was in front of this hat stand , I thought shall or shan't I why not its time maybe for an SP shall I change into a suit ( I haven't got one ) no as you are Dave right now on the spot . So this is my 500th Blip !!
Wow it's funny my bio that wrote at the beginning says " just a guy with an iPhone taking snaps " since then I've taken 1000's of snaps some good some not so good but I've really enjoyed everyday of these 500 consecutive blips not always easy and sometimes lacking inspiration but there you go that's the fun for me .
Blip to me is not just the photos that I take it's the blip community and the enjoyment I get from visiting my regular blippers and seeing theirs and reading what they've been up to and their thoughts , you really are an amazing lot .
A big thank you for all your support during this time , your encouragement when I've been down and during my health problems ( my voice loss) and your comments and the good humored banter some of us enjoy almost daily it's really great .
Well will Andy Murray , Jensen Button or Lewis Hamilton make my day in tennis and F1 this afternoon , well after 500 blips I'm feeling good now onward to the big 1000 !!
