Second day of pottery lessons

I am really enjoying every minute of my pottery lessons.
Today we have made some practice with colour glazes and dry rope technique.
This technique can be seen in the mosaics that decorate the walls of the Alhambra. Symmetry or Here
I learned about this technique many years ago, when I was a part time student at an art school and made some nice things like this plate and this mirror frame. But that was a long time ago and I had forgotten nearly everything about pottery.

That is why I am so excited about having retaken this old hobby.
