On The Go

My publicist, Sophie, steps out of a taxi in the rain in front of our Leeds hotel. We had travelled three hours by train from Edinburgh for an event tonight at Waterstones. The event was chaired by the charming Sarah Nuttal in front of a great turnout of readers who extended the event by a good half hour with penetrating questions about my books and writing.

Stock signing tomorrow morning. A train to London and, at last, a little relaxation with my daughter in Swindon. Can't wait!
