Reflections of Milford Sound

The night in the dorm room for the six of us was totally forgotten when we arrived back here for our early morning cruise. The reflections were slightly rippled by the departing cruise liner, but we were very happy.
All I can say was ,it was magical. I didn't want to leave and bro also said that, because he didn't want this to be the last time we saw this. Funny how a place can grab hold of you.
The commentary told us all about Captain cook, who failed to find the hidden entrance to the sound twice when mapping the coastline and the fact that Molford gets over 6 metres of annual rainfall.. We were indeed lucky.
Sadly we did have to leave and returned to Te Anu for lunch in the Sandfly cafe. It really was better than it sounded, but the high pitched noise of the young person annoyer?!? made us move. Don't really know what is was , but it did.
We headed back to Queenstown, this time giving the trout fishery a miss and booked into the Sherwood apartments and headed into town to have some Tapas. The magnificent sunset closed a wonderful day.

The bed was big enough for 4, but as Margie kept saying, "It's not that type of holiday!"

As aye
