Sunday 8 July 2012: Spaghetti

Yesterday was a blast but I'll have to wait til I'm back in work to upload a blip. The researchers were amazing and their stands attracted loads of attention, I think everyone was exhausted in the end and for once it felt like we really made a difference with what we do, but I'll leave that for now and talk about it later with the blip.

Today - felt fat - went for a run and got home before 8am (not bad) I need to start upping my game seriously as I have stupidly signed myself for the Great North Run (oh my word, what have I done I've never run further than 10K before!!)

Simon dug in the garden and then we did the whole nail biting watching Murray not win Wimbledon. Bob was genuinely upset as he watch Murray lose and came in to the kitchen to tell me how sad it was. But then he cheered up when he told me he would like to play tennis and win at Wimbledon (he'll need to learn first of course!)

Right have to go and watch the tour highlights, so much sport so little time, and that's even before the Olympics :)
