Walk like a penguin, fall like a shrimp

In the picture there are icy reflections on a supermarket's parking lot. All roads are very icy, I hate it because walking is so difficult. Sami got bloody  scratches on his pads after running on icy snow in a forest. Poor fellow has to wear the satellite dish now.

This infographic instructs how to walk on ice:

That may work, but pace must be really slow.

If you'll fall after all, this other guide suggests that you should fall in shrimp-like position:

This weekend there is a national bird observation campaign going on. BirdLife Finland asks people to report, what birds they do see on their courtyard during an hour. Me and Emma observed the area around our bird feeder and we saw: 2 Tree Sparrows, 6 Great Tits and 1 Blue Tit (plus a squirrel). This time we couldn't see a blackbird, one of our bird feeder's regular customers. And goldfinches have disappeared totally this winter!
