I had a walk this morning which I tried to time with a break in the rain. I didn't get very far before I realised it was a mistake. I got absolutely soaked and nearly blown over a couple of times. 

Spent the rest of the day hiding inside, baking these beauties (carrot cake cookies) and waiting for the boiler man - who obviously timed it to coincide with me getting the cookies out of the oven.
