Magpie Nearby

Another unusual looking blip, following yesterday's.  We see magpies nearly every day from our apartment, but they rarely come at all close, and they almost never perch in a given spot for more than a few seconds.  This one was  on a roof just behind our apartment, and he stayed long enough for a few shots. But the light was much too strong and I really had to work to get any sort of a decent image in Photoshop--this was the best I could do.  It's the first magpie I've ever blipped from the apartment in the many months we've been here over the years.

I've marked his location precisely on the map--the bird was overlooking the Square des Peupliers--the small triangle of narrow alleys you see on the map.  Here is our view.
