Tuesday 10 July 2012: Vulture Valley
Thank you so much to everyone for your views, comments, stars and hearts yesterday (I am in the process of replying). Never has a cast, colony, committee, congregation, family, flight, kettle, looming, meal, rout, soar, volume, vortex, venue or wake* of vultures gone from obscurity to fame in such a short time. They have all been given a nice gory reward for their efforts (don't panic, it wasn't any part of Toto) (well, not anything he still needed).
Two reasons for today's choice, firstly because it's the entrance to the valley where yesterday's photos were taken - a lot of our vultures nest and congregate there and secondly to show that our skies are not always blue and there will be rain before bedtime!
