Wound up in Wexford

44 Hallam Street

I spent the day at 44 Hallam Street, at a couple of workshops organised by the Medical Protection Society.

The building was originally the main offices of the General Council of Medical Education and Registration of the United Kingdom (now better known as the General Medical Council), which was established in 1858. It is now a conference centre.

The journey there and back on London Transport was further confirmation (if I needed it) of why I would not want to live in London.  Standing room only all the way in this morning.  I did manage to get a seat for some of the journey home.
