Wednesday 11 July 2012: Happy Family

First of all, warm thanks to everyone for your words, hearts and stars for yesterdays Beauty of a Hellabore - a real explosion of colour and made me think spring is getting closer. I'm feeling very humble being on the spotlight page, thank you. Welcome to all of my new subscribers, hope you enjoy my journal.

After another good frost this morning our skies were blue, a gentle breeze filled the air, it was quite cold in the shade. A little wander down by the pond found the discovery of this wee family looking for some bread, I only had my camera.

I feel a busy shot with the reflections and colours of the leafless trees but it is the environment they were in, moving gracefully but keeping an eye on their cygnet with a little honk between the two parents. I often wished I knew what they were saying probably ' hopeless case she is, no bread today', maybe thats why I got the 'evils' from the swan in the foreground.

Anyway time to check on tea, Roast Lamb and veges, draw the curtains and fold the washing - at least its dry today :)
