Monday 24 November 2008: bah humbug
Christmas is here.
It's official, all the shops have their "xmas windaes" on.
I hate 'Xmas', and I'm no big fan of Christmas either - a commercialised orgy of excess where spending more is a sign of loving more. It must be true 'cos the admen say so...
"show them you care, buy the new xxxxx" Fek that.
And, another household finds themselves driven into debt to buy the new GI Joe with the grippy hands for little Timmy.
Then there is the 'standardised' happy Xmas vibe. Family, friends and festive cheer. That neatly ignores all the woes and family stress.

So, here is my blip today. The Xmas Windae at Hamilton & Inches. Ho ho ho.
