Iris

Iris is a genus of 260-300 species of flowering plants with showy flowers. It takes its name from the Greek word for a rainbow. Wikipedia

These are irises which our neighbours brought us when they came for supper last week. They've lasted very well and I wanted to capture them in a blip because they're so beautiful.
