Snowshoeing, selfies and orbs

Great day, started late as our cottage was so quiet and cozy we slept in. Off to the lodge for a hearty breakfast to fuel S and I for a morning of snowshoeing and selfies. Unfortunately the weather warmed up and was raining and mild today. We were to drive another half hour north to ice skate the famous Arrowhead provincial park trails but they were closed due to melting. We set off for home and toodled around the gorgeous Muskoka countryside. The rain stopped and we found and toured a 5th generation maple syrup farm, and bought 5litres and ate maple cinnimon buns with our tea! Cousin hazelh would have loved it! Then on to a candy store and shoe shopping. Found the best vegan place that just opened, great dinner. We topped the girls w/e off with an evening at the Leander rowing club who brought in guest lecturer, relative of Dick & George Pocock, famous shell/boat builders, to talk about the book "Boys in the Boat" it was truly fascinating! A ton of pics to blip today but this one stood out, look at the orbs surrounding my friend! My camera has never done this...we had such a happy day, this is her energy and happiness shining through!
