Cactus Wren

Look, in this saguaro,  
    spiny needles everywhere,  
        a cactus wren sits


See the EXTRA,  A Cactus wren chirps on top of the saguaro.  They will construct nests out of grasses and other annual plants, but can also include scraps of cloth and other woven fibers that they find. They will build  nests (get-away vacation homes)  in cholla,  palo verde, acacias, and saguaros,

In the wild cactus wrens can live to be 7-10 years old.
